Ube (Purple Yam) No Churn Ice Cream

This is the perfect cool down dessert for these endless hot days we’ve been having recently.  This is a very easy recipe an only uses 2 ingredeints!  Just make sure the whipping cream and condensed milk is cold.  I used ube condensed milk.  If you can’t find this, you can also use regular condensed milk and ube extract.



  1. Whip heavy cream on medium-high speed to soft peaks.

  2. Pour in ube condensed milk and whip to stiff peaks.

  3. Transfer into a freezer-safe container, put saran wrap on top, cover and freeze for at least a couple of hours.


  • If you cant find ube condensed milk, you can use regular condensed milk and ube extract
  • You can use less condensed milk if you like less sweet.
  • Adding macapuno (coconut strings) will add texture to this ice cream
