This is a modified version of Salisbury steak. I grate the onions instead of chopping so that there are no raw onion bits in the steak. The Knorr liquid seasoning also gives it that flavor punch in the gravy. You can also substitute Worcestershire sauce if you don’t have liquid seasoning.
Mix together the ground beef, onion powder, garlic powder, ground black pepper, and egg. Grate 1 piece of Knorr beef cube and mix again.
Scoop about ¼ cup of the meat mixture, mold it into a ball and flatten into a patty. Continue until you finish all the meat mixture.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan. Sear one side of the patties in medium heat until it browns then flip and do the same on the side. Do not overcook. Set it aside.
To make the gravy melt butter in a saucepan and add flour. Cook in medium and stir for about 30 seconds. Add Knorr Beef Cube and stir until melted.
Pour water into the saucepan and stir until slightly thickened. Add onion powder, garlic powder, ground black pepper, and Knorr Liquid Seasoning and stir.
Add the sliced mushroom and cooked beef patties and cook for about 5 minutes.
Transfer to a serving plate, sprinkle with chopped parsley and enjoy!!
